Coming Soon: Lines I Couldn’t Speak
Lines I Couldn’t Speak is a forthcoming reflective art book that brings together a series of ink and charcoal drawings made during the early months of motherhood, drawings that gave shape to feelings difficult to understand and hold in everyday life.
Created during a period of perinatal distress and returned to more than three decades later, the work offers a quiet record of that time. Shaped by lived experience, the images are now viewed through the lens of time, further life experience, and years of practice in the mental health field.
Less a manual or memoir than a visual archive, and perhaps a companion for those navigating the unspoken and in-between experiences of early parenthood.
Lines I Couldn’t Speak will be available soon. More details to follow.
